Hamlet says, “The time is out of joint,” and he is right. The world is threatened by multiple crises: wars, economic collapse, authoritarian state structures, ruined environments. What has recently changed for the worse all over the world in these respects continues to build up.

We provide answers with the concentrated power of thought and have invited Austria’s three leading philosophers: in their latest books, Konrad Paul Liessmann, Franz Schuh, and Robert Pfaller take on what is out of joint today in their own way.

On the last day of the festival, another edition of our popular literary show Roboter mit Senf takes place, which demonstrates that literature is also a possible way out of the crisis.
